Experience:
Advisor to the public and private sectors; drafter of the city agreement that established the debt ceiling for Line Two of the Bogotá Metro, which was approved by a majority vote of the City Council.
He also serves as an advisor to the Ministry of Mines and Energy on the energy transition.
While serving on the Bogotá City Council, he provided advice and proposed City Agreements for the management of intellectual property, and also advised on the transfer of technology and knowledge for the operation of Metro Line 2—Colombia’s most important infrastructure project—in collaboration with the Capital District’s team of highly qualified attorneys.
It was there that his interest in and passion for intellectual property took root, and today he advises companies on the national and international protection of what Dr. Bustos considers to be a company’s most important assets—its intangible assets—which he integrates with his areas of expertise in government contracting and tax law.

She is currently a member of the Bustos Abogados team and advises on complex cases involving the management and protection of intangible assets in various jurisdictions, with a focus on tax and accounting matters.
